Course Selection Confirmation for Fall Semester, 2021-22 AY

Dear students,

This mail is to remind you of course selection confirmation and remedy for insufficient credits.
A. Course Selection Confirmation
Students are advised to confirm the course selection results online between October 13 (Wed.) and
October 19 (Tue.) whether add/drop course applications have been requested or not.
Students are able to confirm the course selection results by visiting this link:
Please make sure the details:
1. All the registered courses are on the list.
2. Withdrawn course(s) is/are remarked.
3. zero-credit course(s) is/are on the list.
4. Class number, name of the instructor, class hours etc. are accurate.
If the results for course selection are accurate, please click on the ”Confirm” button. The system will
automatically email the course selection results to the school email of students.

NOTE: Since CEIBA and NTU COOL is a teaching platform, all data of CEIBA/NTU COOL come from
the system of course selection originally, but instructors can add/delete data in CEIBA/NTU COOL by
themselves. Therefore, students should not only look course selection results up at CEIBA/NTU COOL.
(For instructors, departments/graduate institutes/degree programs, the latest student list is available for
download and can be accessed by clicking ”Teaching”→” Inquiry of the Number of Students Enrolling
for a Course ” on myNTU.)

For students who missed the deadline for online course drop, they can only apply for course withdrawal
by December 7 (Tue.). As for students who missed the dates for course registration, they are no longer
able to make any request for enrolling in courses.
For those who have submitted ”Petition Form of Instructor’s Consent for Course Add ” or ”Course
Withdrawal Application Form ” to the Office of Academic Affairs, if the course selection results are not
accurate, please contact the responsible unit in the Office of Academic Affairs immediately.
B. Remedy for Insufficient Credits

1. Students who will fail to be graduating in the semester due to insufficiency of credits may submit the
”Special Request Form” to make a course add. The Special Request Form needs to be read and
evaluated by the course instructor, the Chairperson/Director of the student’s department/graduate
institute/degree program and then sent it to responsible unit in the Office of Academic Affairs for
approval no later than October 21 (Thu.).
2. Undergraduate students who will be forced to take a leave of absence or drop out due to lack of enough
credits according to Credit Requirements Sheet need to submit the “Course Underload Request Form”.
This form needs to be read and evaluated by your advisor and Chairperson. and sent it to responsible
unit in the Office of Academic Affairs for approval no later than October 21 (Thu.).
