Getting To The University By MRT

The MRT is perhaps the most economical way to travel within the Taipei city. There are automatic ticketing machines available at every station with English instruction. In case you need additional assistance, the information booths are usually located closely to the gates.

The NTU main campus is reachable via the Green Line (a.k.a. Songshan-Xindian Line). The Gongguan station is on the southwestern edge of the campus.

By Taxi

For travelers with heavy load, taxi is the recommended way of transportation. The easiest way to communicate with the taxi drivers about your destination, the NTU EE building, is to show them a printout of the following picture -- a jpg file showing the Chinese equivalent of 'Take me to the National Taiwan University, Electrical Engineering Department, Please'
