Makerspace
NTUEE Makerspace, a student-operated laboratory, serves as a collaborative hub accessible to all NTUEE students. Within this creative space, students have the freedom to either work on their final projects or unleash their imaginative potential. The lab is well-equipped with an array of tools, encompassing traditional woodworking and metalworking machinery like drills and saws, as well as cutting-edge technology such as laser cutters and 3D printers to construct project structures. Additionally, a rich assortment of development boards, sensors, and actuators are available for students to utilize based on their specific needs. For those working on electronic projects, soldering stations and electronic testing instruments are readily accessible for circuit building and debugging. NTUEE Makerspace extends its support to various activities, including summer camps and department carnivals. Notably, it's the birthplace of NTUEE Light Dance, a celebrated campus performance, which stands as a testament to the skills honed within these walls. These activities not only enhance the participants' maker skills and implementation experience but also foster stronger bonds among students, cultivating a vibrant sense of community within the department. In essence, NTUEE Makerspace empowers students to transform their ideas into reality while nurturing a spirit of collaboration and innovation.
